Project Overview
Faros Junior Kindergarten, established in 2017 in Limassol, is a modern educational institution designed to provide children with a safe, inspiring, and well-equipped learning environment.
The school’s philosophy focuses on nurturing essential life values — respect, social responsibility, and cooperation — while preparing children academically for higher education.
Mrs. Ntora Kouloumi, the owner and principal of the kindergarten, places great emphasis on the children’s behaviour, education, and, above all, their safety. To ensure the highest level of protection for students, staff, and premises, she entrusted NP Private Security Services with the design and installation of an advanced security and safety system that complies with the latest European Standards (EN54).
Our Scope of Work
NP Private Security Services developed and implemented a comprehensive security and fire safety solution, including:
- CCTV System with advanced video analytics for high-quality imaging and quick playback search.
- Access Control & Intercom System for secure entry and exit management.
- Fire Detection System fully compliant with EN54 European standards.
CCTV System
A total of five indoor cameras were installed to cover all internal areas of the building, ensuring continuous 24/7 recording.
Additionally, ten outdoor cameras were positioned strategically to monitor the entire courtyard and perimeter of the premises.
The system allows remote monitoring and real-time notifications for any unauthorized access or incidents — such as an intruder or a child leaving the area without supervision.
Access Control & Intercom
Two intercom units were installed on both entry and exit points, allowing secure communication and controlled access.
The exit point is equipped with a code-based access control system, providing an additional layer of safety and ensuring that no one can leave the premises without authorization.
Fire Safety System
The fire detection system includes a central fire control panel, smoke detectors installed in all classrooms and indoor areas, manual call point and indoor sirens with Visual Alarm Devices (VADs).
All components are certified to EN54 European fire safety standards, ensuring full compliance and reliability in the event of an emergency.
